The municipal territory of Faver is located at an altitude of 673 metres on the right side of the Cembra Valley at the foot of Mount Avvoltoio. The main road passes through the entire length of the town which is historically divided into two parts, each with its own town square and fountain. Faver is also well known for the distillation of grappas. The mild climate and the right altitude favour the production of grapes of particular quality. Thanks to the experience accumulated over the centuries handed down from generation to generation, the grappa distilled at Faver is well known and appreciated as a product of high quality. The historic centre has a fascinating alley with typical overpasses.
